Besides the WMEA Program providing recycling opportunities in the county there are others such as:
Koharts Salvage
Koharts Salvage is the county wide recycling center. They are located outside of Broughton on SR 613. Koharts will take all of the regular recycling items such as: newspaper, glass (green, brown, clear), cardboard, steel cans, plastics one and two, and aluminum cans. They also take, as a surplus company, appliances and scrap metal.

Erie Recycling
Another recycling opportunity is through Erie Recycling located out of Antwerp. Erie Recycling is now a permanent recycling center. They have a drop off site in Antwerp. They offer curbside recycling in Paulding, Payne and Antwerp. They man a recycling trailer in Paulding Village at the fairgrounds parking lot the first Saturday of each month from 9-12:00. They also have another trailer on the same first Saturday in Cecil at the fire department. Along with the Antwerp Rotary, Erie Recycling provides a 24/7 recycling trailer located at the water treatment plant located just south of the Antwerp school.
Erie Recycling takes all the regular recycling items including magazines and shredded paper.
